Content marketing for property development company Citylife

Situation

Citylife is a Leeds-based property development and investment company looking to set new standards for city-centre living.

The company wanted to improve its online presence through a new website. This included the creation of a new landing pages for its residential property developments and wider website, as well as for new opportunities where content could be created to showcase Citylife’s expertise and authority within the Leeds property market.

As part of the process, Citylife also required consultancy on the overall aesthetics and functionality of the website. This was to ensure that not only did the website look good, but also was easy and accessible for users to navigate.

Response

Our first task was to undertake a full competitor and keywords analysis This allowed us to support Citylife in talking about the right topics on its website and performing well within Google searches.

This helped inform the creation of a recommended sitemap for the website, detailing the additional pages which were required compared to the existing website. From here, we were able to draft new fully optimised landing page copy for the core website pages, as well as the pages for Citylife’s residential property developments.

Citylife’s existing website did not feature any functional blog copy which may have been of interest to its target audiences and help build more authority within the brand. We recommended creating informative guides aimed at investors, owner-occupiers and the wider property market, and reports on how the housing and rental markets were performing.

Throughout the entire process, we also liaised closely with Citylife and the third-party web development team on the overall look and functionality of the website. This consultancy ranged from offering recommendations on suggested imagery to use on site, to where the call to actions should be located on the page.

Results

Following the launch of the new Citylife website, the company now has:

  • A new website which has improved in the functionality and aesthetics to enhance the overall on-site user journey
  • A fully optimised website, which has landing page copy that is focused on targeting relevant keywords
  • An informative suite of guides, forecasts and reports to further help position Citylife as the authority when it comes to the residential property market in Leeds city centre
