Brand8 PR was initially appointed by Yorkshire law firm Gordons in 2006 to raise awareness of the firm regionally via media relations.

The relationship has evolved over time and now sees us provide strategic communications advice across the firm ranging from sector-specific business development initiatives to the continued building of value in the Gordons brand.

Response

Media relations remains a key element of the service provided to the firm, but this has been augmented with content marketing and social media consultancy.

Particular emphasis has been placed on profile raising of partners within key sectors, such as retail PR, leading to coverage in national trade titles The Grocer and Retail Week, as well as national newspapers including The Independent and The Telegraph.

Content marketing activity has seen third parties contribute blogs for the Gordons website including property consultancy Knight Frank’s chief economist and brand design agency Elmwood’s chairman.
