Personal care brand manufacturer Inline Health & Beauty has appointed Brand8 PR agency Leeds to implement a consumer PR campaign for its Anovia skin and bodycare product range.

Featuring over 20 products including shower gels, body lotions and children’s shampoos and conditioners, Anovia products are listed in a number of discount retailers including Poundland, Home Bargains and B&M.

We were appointed following a four-way pitch and have been tasked with generating increased consumer awareness and demand, along with enabling additional listings for Anovia products.

Commenting on the appointment, Juliet Allister, Inline’s commercial director, said: “Brand8 PR stood apart from their competitors due to their clear understanding of our brand, strong ideas, distinct commercial awareness and impressive health and beauty sector experience.

“Anovia is a successful high quality, affordable skin and bodycare brand, but we know it has a huge amount of potential for further growth. We are confident that Brand8 PR’s strategic approach will enable us to continue to grow Anovia’s distribution and the brand’s revenues.”

Established in 1997, Inline has a 26,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on the Felnex Trading Estate in Cross Green and is on target to achieve a turnover of £5m by 2015. Brand8 PR account director Paula Toole said: “Anovia products more than hold their own against many much higher priced global bodycare brands.

Today’s consumers are seeking out affordable quality products and then telling their friends, so we are going to harness this peer-to-peer recommendation through a mixture of social media, experiential activity and media relations.
