Based just minutes away from Leeds train station and Granary Wharf, Brand8 PR is an ambitious agency that delivers PR, social and content campaigns for a wide range of clients in the professional services, technology, manufacturing and property sectors.

As part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking to recruit a social media executive to join our team and support our social media manager in the day-to-day running and management of our clients’ social media channels.

About you

We’re looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and a flair for creativity, looking to further develop their skills and understanding of social media, content marketing and PR, and the role it plays in delivering value to our clients. You’ll be able to come up with great ideas, write brilliant copy and develop exciting creative content that helps build relationships between our clients and their audience.

What you’ll be doing

As social media executive, you’ll be a key member of the team, providing support to our social media manager and being the face of our clients on their social media channels.

Reporting directly into the associate director and social media manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Copywriting social media posts for a varied array of clients
  • Creating and sourcing imagery and video for social media posts
  • Identifying influencers and bloggers and manging these relationships
  • Scheduling of posts on all social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Managing our clients’ social media community engagement

Skills and experience

This is an entry level role and would suit a graduate or someone who has experience of managing a social media channel for a business, with a good understanding of how social media works and why it is important. We would like to see some examples of creativity. An understanding of graphic design, photography and the Adobe suite would be helpful.

We’re passionate about your development and, as part of the role, you will be mentored and trained to develop your skills further, offering continuous growth within the agency.
