Making the tills ring at White Rose Shopping Centre

Situation

Brand8 was appointed to create a retail PR campaign that would position the White Rose Shopping Centre as an exciting fashion-led destination, supporting its overall marketing strategy.

Response

A series of retail PR events and competitions appealing to the centre’s key demographic were developed. These included the ‘Young Fashion Designer’ competition, the ‘New Face of White Rose’ and ‘The Ultimate Girls Night In’ – all initiatives that received positive responses from customers and increased awareness of the centre.

Client results

The Young Fashion Designer competition received a British Council of Shopping Centres Purple Apple merit and the centre’s spring/summer campaign, delivered by Brand8 PR, was its most recognised in six years.

Research showed that 53 per cent of consumers were aware of it – up from 41 per cent the previous year. Total conversions and average non-food spend were also up.
